By the way one of my best friends is gay and my cousin is gay and I ask them these questions because no one else will. I have my beliefs and they have theirs it’s just a damn shame you guys make it about the Abrahamic faiths texts about homosexuality instead of reaching deeper within yourself and seeing that “god” isn’t a magic Gandalf man in the clouds who says “gay shits bad”. Like I said if you looked into the far east you’ll land on Buddhism/Hinduism/Jainism/Sikhism/Taoism/etc, and how they speak of “Hijras” is in a very respectable way(no judgment). So foolishly you allow the Abrahamic centric world view to define what “god” is/means. Maybe get outside your hemisphere and dwell in the opposite culture you were raised in and you’ll be able to consciously rationalize shit-can thinking. Lying to yourself about things that can affect your physical/mental health in a meaningful way is ignorance. Having a sexual preference other then the one you were born in automatically implies a more difficult/unsustainable way of life. It’s why statistically lgbtq+ have the highest rates of suicide/STDs. LGBTQ+ peoples tend to run this whole it’s all safe and fun when it’s not. You can’t sway we on any science related to pro-homosexuality PERIOD. I’m not a homophob either I’m a realist I’ve said the same things I said here to my good friend and cousin who are both openly gay men. They didn’t get offended because like I said lgbtq+ peoples know they are God but say God doesn’t exist because Gods the “Abrahamic god”. Except that sin is just another word for personal dislikes from a fictional character. This fictional character chooses to be upset even though they don't affect him in any way and can change anything with the snap of his fingers. Yet he wants to be upset and punish the people he dislikes anyway. While telling them he loves them and you have free will to do anything.
