One of the easiest ways for me to know where i should stand politically is to view where the opposing sides decide to make a stand. I mean this is such a clear cut case, yet the left is doubling down.

How far we've moved as a society where an illegal immigrant that's an obvious MS13 member being deported is where they decide to make the stand. What happened to common sense here? Don't democrats realize that this is actually the losing position politically? Same shit with supporting rioting, destruction of property, burning Tesla's, etc.

Trump won because a bunch of normal people regardless of race or class see some of these positions and are baffled and just said Trump may not be ideal but some of these rallying cries are absolutely insane.

Shouldn't you have the opposite reaction? If the guy being fucked is from a group politically disadvantageous in the current moment, the people in government fucking him are the bad guys and the people in government defending him are the good guys?

I mean, that's the sort of simplistic view you seem to be taking. But you seem to be aligning with a man more than an ideology.

Trump and his regime were not allowed to deport Kilmar Abrego Garcia and he is either dead or not comming back by principle now. He was not convicted of any crime, so the US government is apparently just deporting innocent people to death camps three months in.

https://abcnews.go.com/US/mistakenly-deported-kilmar-abrego-garcia-back-us-face/story?id=121333122

Kilmar Abrego Garcia has been returned to the United States, extradited from El Salvador and indicted on two criminal counts of human trafficking.
The DoJ has evidence of Garcia being the center of a decade-long criminal conspiracy for MS13, for which he transported thousands of illegal aliens from Mexico and Central America in over 100 such trips. Pam Bondi thanked President Bukele for agreeing to return Garcia for prosecution, and that if Garcia is convicted he will be subject to deportation after serving any sentence.

"The grand jury found that over the past nine years, Abrego Garcia has played a significant role in an alien smuggling ring," Bondi said. "They found this was his full time job, not a contractor. He was a smuggler of humans and children and women. He made over 100 trips, the grand jury found, smuggling people throughout our country."

The first rule of being a trial lawyer is don't ask questions you don't know the answer to.

Reps Ansari, Dexter, Frost & Garcia traveled to El Salvador after Sen Hollen had margaritas with Kilmar Abrego Garcia. They all threw in their lot with a known MS13 member, without knowing the full extent of his crimes.
The DoJ now lays out even more detailed allegations

  • He solicited child pornography
  • He trafficked firearms and narcotics for MS-13
  • He raped women/girls he was trafficking
  • He trafficked children, specifically unaccompanied minors
  • He smuggled thousands of people into the US, including numerous MS-13 members
  • He murdered the mother of a rival gang member

The latter is also the reason why he feared retaliation in his home country, he had murdered a woman before he fled and feared the gang would kill him if he returned.

I know you know that, but for people who are a little more challenged with thinking:

Even the most heinous criminal deserves due process, if he did all or even some of the things jail him and throw the key away. But you still have to follow the laws while doing it, which is so obvious even Trump had to comply in the end.

And he's received his due process at each step. Which is just the process he is due. Illegal aliens aren't entitled to criminal hearings or presumption of innocence to be proven beyond a reasonable doubt, we simply need to determine their status and deport them. And his status was correctly determined to be an illegal alien subject to deportation. That he was erroneously deported to the wrong country doesn't violate his rights like the way our country's rights are violated when a judge erroneously granted him a stay of deportation on the basis that he had murdered a woman in El Salvador and could face retribution. Now he is facing criminal charges and has been extradited and has all the benefits of due process, the presumption of innocence and the onus is on the government to prove his guilt for his lifetime of human trafficking, abusing women and girls, soliciting child pornography and murdering women.

This is the guy Democrats went to bat for in the most over the top fashion. Well dayum, Travyon Martin and George Floyd really are saints by comparison
