I mainly use it to go to dairy queen 2 blocks away to get blizzards, it's a way smoother ride.

The Weight of the S Works Epic 8 is 22 lbs and 9.2 ounces.

That would seem to be the biggest advantage of the S Works Epic 8

The S Works is also sold out on Specialized's Website so I'm not even sure if you can buy one right now.
