if you goin high ee charms and got a lot of funds and wanna spend good amount of time playing this game/ charms might be for you
if you here just for fun and dont wanna spend tousands of fg i suggest go medium ee daggers. you will be just fine with that

Also more about can you find anything decent for trade. Go with you can get and slowly build off that.

Anyone also know which charm to use? Are they all the same strength or is a certain element the best ?

They all do the same avg damage.
Ice is less rng as u can pretty much guarantee one-two hit a monster (with good gear)
while a lightning has the chance to one hit, but being unlucky u could 5-6hit instead.

I prefer Earths / Ice charms myself ^^

If in a group, i choose lightning charms. if solo, ice/earth.
