Being proud of something you have no control over is such a weird concept.

So you agree that being gay is a choice? (Something you have control of)

Regardless, I disagree. One can be proud of their country, even if they had no control that they were born there.

Not really. That kind of thing doesn't need a month dedicated to it nor should anyone be "proud" to be gay, just like you shouldn't be "proud" to be straight.

That being said, there's nothing wrong with being gay.

I agree with your position, pride should generally be limited to your own achievements. Otherwise it's not earned. But my position is that force must be met with force, such that while they retain false pride so will I.

There is plenty wrong with being gay which I've iterated many times, including today in PaRD. The biggest things wrong with it are the abuse of children and the culture and spread of deadly contagious disease.
