I just want to give my two cents worth on this.
It is a personal opinion.
As long as...1. No Gay Marriage in Church or any religious establishment that doesn't recognize it's legality in their religious ethos
2. No Crazy BDSM / Fury / Trans Pride Parade
3. You don't infiltrate your ideology into Schools / education curriculum.
4. Just do whatever you like in your bedroom as much as you please and not in public.
5. No trans in women sports, men in women toilets, men in Hello Kitty mini skirts with copious amount of facial hair, fake boobs, G String panties and leg hair going to kindergartens teaching and reading to kids etc etc etc.
6. No bullshit LGBTQ Plus trying to use politics and political power to destroy someone else's livelihood or create violence just because someone doesn't want to " date you " .
I honestly do not think anyone cares if the above are met. The only people who really care about it are the rust and bible thumping belt conservatives.
That being said, because the extreme progressive left keep trying to push the ideology into everyday lives of Americans, you are now seeing a backlash.
You went into and infiltrated Disney, social media, Netflix, Game developing companies to push such ideologue etc etc
One can always argue that these are private companies and in some peculiar way, they are allowed to do whatever they want.
Technically speaking it is right. However, because of America's soft power worldwide, and those companies that I mentioned above, their reach into everyone's lives, especially companies like Disney where you start watching since you are a kid..
Such company are no longer " Private" because they are somewhat essential in everyday life.
A simple do not watch it doesn't "suffice" . It is not as simple as that. That also means the government will have to get involve in balancing it somehow.
The failure to " balance " these so called " private " companies as mention above will cause huge mischief.
And it will end up being ruinous not only for America but also to their " allies " or which ever culture that America's soft power have a massive presence and reach.
This is the reason why Trump got elected.
