CNN has repeatedly been pulled up for media bias and similar to the BBC it is no longer a neutral source. a bit like how Reuters is a media wing for the United States instead of being a reputable media outlet.
all 3 of them used to be brilliant. i have not looked closely at CNN and Reuters, i guess i can look at them in my spare time to educate myself. but the BBC fell back in 2017 when the British government eviscerated its board.

Nearly half of Gaza's population is younger than 18 to begin with. According to the 2023 article below, their population share stood at 47% back then. So if someone says that "40% of Gaza victims are children", he actually argues that Israel is NOT specifically targetting children.

based on recent history, the more likely scenario is that the Israeli's will kill her ( such as the previous attack by Israel ).
there are currently an estimated 24 hostages still alive in Gaza, and 9623 hostages held by Israel (no one talks about these).

there are quite alot of incidents which are now historical fact, which would dispute your claim/statement.

I'd think with a single high profile celebrity who willingly approaches Gaza, the kidnap scenario is way more likely than being killed, though the latter is possible. I mean you can always get Jonestown'd like Leo Ryan did. Humans when regressed to full barbarism will kill 19 and take 1 as a slave or prisoner, and that's been true for tribes in ancient times and indian warriors in the americas and palestinians. Its the chaos of pillaging and plunder, when its inconvenient to take people alive. But that's true for marauding and warring, not so much for PR stunts gone awry. If a dumb liberal somehow actually puts themselves into Hamas control like a Hanoi Jane, they'd have reason to seize her as a hostage since she's valuable that way and easy to control.
