I really hate how fucking stupid they made ellie in this season. It suits the actress I guess but it’s pathetic

At least Dina is dramatically improved from the game, she’s easily been the best part of the second season. Unfortunately it feels like all of it is at Ellie’s expense

Her dialogue is incredibly bad. Idk if it’s the actress or the actual writing but every time she speaks it’s just bad.

Pedro Pascal as overused as he is at least held the show. Now it's just a lesbian potato head who wrestles with mex x2 her size where she wins because plot armor. It's tiresome watching the show.

Jeffrey wright is awesome in everything, but yeah he’s definitely the perfect casting for Isaac

Got bored of other shows, so binge watched S1 and up to date with S2 (5 episodes).

Not a bad show. I thought Ellie (or is it Sally ... I am hard of hearing, ) had more sense in episode 2 and got caught off guard before firing a successful shot at Abby... bit of a slow reaction for her being 19 years of age and 5 years of training and attitude previously.

Oh well, going to see how it plays out.

Really don’t like the changes they made to Ellie from the game to the show. It’s like they’re trying to make her more sympathetic, which completely goes against who she is in the game. She is not a good person in the second game, and is nearly singularly focused on revenge. Instead of that, she is super wishy-washy about the whole ordeal and her show-character would absolutely not be making the decisions that she does in the game

Add that on top of making her dumb in general, constantly making bad, rash decisions, being whiny at every given opportunity, and still being cast very poorly, and you get a very disappointing second season

I have more hope for s3 because Abby’s part in the game is honestly the more interesting part, but I’m still worried a little. They got too confident with their changes and started missing badly (Jesse’s character was worsened dramatically too). Need them to cut that shit out
