Hey, I just bought a club on the marketplace for 4fg. But 20fg was deducted from my transaction. Should I consider this a bug or just an unfortunate mistake?

"Bugs" like this are very unrealistic. Would be surprised if it actually happened.

you might have searched for it and waited for a bit and someone else probably bought it and replaced it for more before you actually bought it.

Time of 2 sale is identical. This is the first time I've encountered this. the only thing that comes to my mind is that someone bought it before you and immediately put it on mp for 20fg

Idk if you looked on market and the club were listed for 4 fg, before you typed in the gold password and gonna purchase the club the one who listed the club realized their "mistake" and quickly relisted it for 20fg and when you pressed purchased it did make the price 20fg ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Its just a wild guess since the timestamp for both 4fg and 20fg is the same 22.26

well 16fg aint that much, you make that back easy in one climb.
You could also upgrade/improve your weapon on your samurai. Having a lvl 25 white dagger on lvl 67 arent that good. but by the looks of current equipped gear and what you have in inventory you probably swapped gear to move over to other climbing character, idk ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
