i have found hundreds of sojs even legit and in hell with basic low end mf setups while playing legit over the years. sojs are harder to find and for ever sojs i find ill get around 4 bks. i do wish d2 had more skill rings other then soj/bk but work with what you got. i basically do play by myself at this point because no one exists on uswest ladder besides a group of maybe 10-15 people. trades are usually highest on friday/sat/sun and dead during the week so if you do need critical pieces of equipment it will be impossible. thankfully i can find all my gear myself except for the anni but as ladders get more sparse i have adapted my inventory to not use them and that is depressing.
That's pretty crazy. How do you play? I mean do you do bosses quest bugged or do you do areas? I just play like quite randomly, i may focus on chaos runs, n do only hardcore, n i play like in my own time. I play as fast as i feel comfortable doing, becouse i don't wanna die. If i play actively during a season, like on and off sort of style, i do many hundreds of chaos runs in hell, i do find rings, yes, and amulets. I must have found hundreds of rings during my time. But, in my adult time, not one soj. I may have found one very early in my youth, but hard to remember, i remember being dumbfounded by what i had found. But i know i never found one since, and i think that's pretty crazy. Almost as crazy as the movie Fear and loathing in las vegas.
I've played a lot in the early 2000's then came back to the game about 10 years ago and left when they came up with the longer cd-keys. A couple weeks ago, my kids came back from school saying a friend had been playing the original Diablo and D2 on his dad's computer and asked me if I knew the game. And now I'm back, seemingly just in time for a ladder reset. Now I'm showing them how to play while the game is still alive-ish. I'm going full circle, except this time it'll be softcore.
