What's the work expectations in SG for expat professionals? 50 hours per week min or?

I'd consider that a low wage as a professional in Canada or the USA for someone nearing career maturity or mid 30s but the tax rate some-what compensates for it.

SGD 280,001 to 320,000 20%

USD 218,000 to 250,000 20%

Anything below this should be around 8% to 18% tops.

120k USD should be around 12%

Working hours 9 to 5 , 5 days week. = 40 hours .
Most expats gets 20 to 25 days off per year not inclusive of public holidays.

10K USD is minimum.

You want real money go to Hong Kong. Tax is slightly lower than Singapore.
We are talking about minimum 15k USD and up.

Singapore doesn't pay as well as Hong Kong as of now. And you can do funny side hustles in Hong Kong.

Did I say that the only reason for sanctions? lmao controlling most the oil trade is a monopoly so basically you make my case for me

???

The USA isn't an opec member

I guarantee you that the reason north Korea is the way it is, is not because of us sanctions

At this point I'm starting to think you are trolling

From 2012 to 2020, Venezuela experienced a 71 percent collapse in GDP per capita — the largest peacetime contraction of any country in modern history, and the equivalent of three Great Depressions.
CEPR Senior Research Fellow Francisco Rodríguez estimates that over half of this contraction was due to US sanctions, largely as a result of decreased oil output.....

How would this not influence the immigration to America? Deny all you want little fishes

I'd be retired on that tax rate at this point. For comparison last year I did:

343K gross employment income. The result was 111K federal and provincial tax withheld, 3,867.50 in CPP, 188 in a second tranche of CPP, 1049.12 in EI

Some tax was recuperated via contributions to certain registered investment accounts but most of that was offset by investment income making the recovery only 6K. So total to the gov't last year around 110K.

Wife did about 1/3 less. But between the two of us we coughed up close to 180K+ in tax.

Now my time-off and other benefits are far in excess of that 20-25 days off. I get that plus 18 Christmas shut-down days that I pop in on for no more than an hour or two here or there to make sure certain filings go through, given a vehicle among other things.

I should say I have no problem paying that tax, except currently I am not inline with how our government has been spending it through the years and think we need a complete revamp of our social security safety nets, among many other programs.

Yeah it's definitely the sanctions that are making the average Venezuelan leave. Not the horrific human rights record.

Please note this is minimum. ^_^ of what I stated above.

I haven't included bonus etc etc. A good year you might get 6 to 8 months bonus. But also understand that Singapore and HK are services and trading hubs so most of the expat jobs in SG is APAC focused.

And 90% of Western MNC have their head office in SG because the tax is straight forward, no language barrier, great health care, no guns.

If your daughter is being touched on the ass by some pervert, pervert gets minimum 8 myths to a year in jail and 6 to 10 Strokes of cane.

No Pedo or grooming shit etc etc. You cant take drugs either. Extremely Vanilla. Great for kids, Great education for children from ages 5 up till 18 and you can go elsewhere for university and college.

I would have to think SG can easily pull off a lower tax rate though. You're the size of Toronto only. Our infrastructure is spread, we're unconsolidated, vastly different systems Province to Province creating inconsistency, just a myriad of issues with our size and minimal population.

Canada is going to be an inefficient country, its the trade-off of having a low population over a massive beautiful landmass. Obviously we could let in other countries or ourselves completely rape it for its natural resources and bolster for a period of time, but that does not appear to be what the majority of Canadians want. And the trade-off of being in SG is you're in a concrete jungle.

There’s nothing more cucked than police showing up at your door at 5 am to take you to jail because you wrote online that you don’t like a politician. Imagine being such a big freak like the UK and Germany.
