Here you are saying 33/11/4 on 66% TS is great

Giannis averaged 33/15/7 on 65% TS this year in the playoffs

Can’t do shit though I guess

-35 while on the court
almost 5 turnovers a game
his fg% from 0-3 feet was 81%

from 3-10 feet 52%
10-16 feet was 44%
16ft was 26%
3p was 20%

half his shots come from within 3 feet of the basket
another 22% come from within 10 feet
almost 3/4 of his shots are close to the basket

He's a one dimensional player who can put up a lot of volume but can't win because the league has exposed him and he can't adapt

SGA drives to the rim more than anyone else in the league. Over 20 drives to the rim per game. You'd think people with just a little bball IQ would understand when you are aggressive and attack the rim instead of settling for jumpers, you get fouled more frequently....

SGA is also insanely good at feeling the defender and positioning himself to draw the foul. His feel for the game is all-time. Hes not super explosive he just plays at his own pace and forces the defense into tough spots. Drawing fouls is a skill.

Also..

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander ranks 23rd in free throw attempts among players who averaged 30+ PPG since 2005 — and just 12th Most FTA by an MVP since 2000.

Maybe the ‘foul merchant’ talk is overblown 😬

Even Jordan averaged 10.5 FTs a game during his last MVP season

we gonna call the goat a free throw merchant as well?

Also insane that SGA was traded on both draft night and after his rookie season

People passing on this dude left right and center

actually it was Charlotte that drafted SGA and Kobe and traded both on draft night thats kinda insane

OKC got SGA
Gallinari
and 5 first round picks one of which is Jalen Williams

for a fucking bum

The bum they traded away was top 3 in MVP voting and top 3 in DPOY voting the year prior 🤷‍♂️
