A radical fringe of the euthanasia legalization movement aligned with his anti-life / anti-human beliefs. The female post scrubbed from reddit apparently a friend of his, who convinced her boyfriend (not him) to shoot her in her sleep as part of their "sanctioned suicide" movement.

This is a lot like the Zizians, there has been a radical fringe movement with cult-like believes and mannerisms connected via the internet, indoctrinated into radicalized wackadoodle beliefs and it gets ignored or brushed under the rug or even coddled and supported online, up until the moment it explodes into terrorism and violence. Rather literally in this case. Apparently on the suicide websites he was posting about how he was planning to gas himself prior to the car bombing attack and figuring out the chemical reactions, with the bomb presumably being on a timer.
