Personally i don't play pvp ... too much high stakes like that, i don't know. If i was to play pvp, i think the sound of very low level duelling sounds more fun. Like, play for 30 minutes, then use the gear you found to duel with. Or something. Maybe 1 or 2 unique items allowed. Something like that. Now that becomes more interesting.
But 3000 fg? Nah. Not for me. Let us know how it goes though if or when someone takes you up on it. Would be fun to know the results.
