What is the best elemental bow type? Im playing single player again and I remember there were a lot of changes, is it still fire for norm and go into ice?

I mean, elemental bowskills is hardly viable that early, costs a lot of mana to use. If you have good gear then maybe possible. But frostmaiden is definitely still a viable build. Early game, invest heavily in critical strike instead, and 3 ith a hunter's bow or composite bow. Bows early game are low damage, but can get you there if you stay focused. Using multishot level 3-4 now and then helps to mow down the masses, but only the middle 2 arrows gets critical strike.

But sure, you can use fire elemental arrow, just beware that it costs a lot of mana to use.

That can work, but they sometimes don't drop at all. And farming countess? Blah. But! Maybe. Takes a while though to run all that way. But, maybe. Thanks for the tip!

I did this on plugy. Its fun.

Start out as Explotion, then Immolation + Cold.

So basicly you shot immolation and spam 2-3 freezing arrows between.
This way enemies will be chilled or frozen inside burning immolation.
If any cold immunes you shot explotion inbetween immolation.
And if multi immune, lvl 1 ga works wonders. Lvl 1 magic if tripple immune etc.

Now that's a fun idea. I may do that. May lower the dammage output a bit to spread out, but it will keep the game fun, and i don't stress. Thanks for the tip! It's nice to have options gainst immunes. And then, if one finds a unique bow perhaps, with fire or ice inclinations, then one can put that to the correct use. It happens.

This cheap setup will go through hell smoothly, only reqs lvl 45 and can be SSF'd quite easily :

Hustle Bow - shael ko eld
This will fix your ias and mobility

Hustle armor - shael ko eld
This will fix your ias and mobility

Wisdom Helm - pul ith eld
This will fix your mana sustain and pierce and CbF

Keep all your IGG to gamble leather gloves (qlvl 3) when you are lvl 45+ for a very good chance of +2 bow / 20ias
They're cheap and you have nice odds of gambling them with the restricted amount of affixes at this lvl
At clvl 65+ you can keep gambling leather gloves for +3 bow / 20ias

Start with explosive arrow
Respec in hell for hybrid cold/fire
Put only 1 point in ice arrow (its only freeze lenght synergy)
and only 1 point in exploding arrow (you want to max immolation + fire arrow for best dmg over time)

Pierce is very important, much more than on a physical bowzon, cuz each time your arrows pierce they deal multiple times their dmg as the explosions triggers and hits multiple times each target in their radius
