Seems like that would add more damage and ar than shadow, whats the main benefit for the shadow gcs?

Claw block
Venom
Mindblast damage
Shadowmaster life/dmg
Claw mastery
Fade level

If you need more DR% in other places than enigma its a huge toll on other stats….

Only cm(around 187% ed) and (dex+strenght)*0,75 and a very small increase from wirl will buff those 10 damage.

So lets assume 156str/115dex, 187% ed and 10% from
Wirl.

9 x 10max scs = 90 max damage, aka 45 average.
(156+115) * 0,75 = 203 ed

Lets say you have 70% deadly/critic

45 * (1+((203+187+10)/100)) * 1,7 * 0,17 = 68 damage each hit.

So yes, you have to think if this is better than 9 shadow skills.
The 9 shadow skills will ofc secure 36% ed from claw mastery.
So with a 200ish average damage high end claw thats 78 damage increase in claw mastery alone.

200 * 1,36 * 1,7 * 0,17 = 78 average damage.
So depending on claw it may differ. But you gain more than just damage…

Okay I see. I guess I’m used to the idea of max dmg gcs for other melee classes but now I see its because of a lack of utility out of the skiller gcs rather than the max dmg. I appreciate the informative post, thank you
