Been saying it for 2-3 years now. The dude is washed. Why they gave him another contract is beyond me. The signs were all there that he was declining.

Pretty sure he leads the league in HRs given up since 2022

He has NEVER been as bad as he has been this season. Not even close.

2023 postseason he was outstanding. Last year he was his usual workhorse 200 innings, 200 K's, 50 walks. He has been consistent year after year giving them 200 innings each of the last 3 seasons.

This year he just looks out of it though. Downright awful. Crazy to say he's their 5th or 6th best starter right now lol. Odd year Nola continues.

He's has an era of 4 over his last 4 seasons NOT including this abysmal season lmao.

Looking at raw ERA in 2025 to gauge a pitcher is like looking at batting average for a hitter lol. There's so much more to it than that.

But yes, it's called odd year Nola for a reason. He seems to be good every other year. He also has a history of struggling early but settling in. Who knows if he has that in him this season because his stuff just isn't there.

His stats over the last 4 years are mediocre at best.
