everyone loves the idea of a 2 state solution until you have to put pen to paper and actually draft out what that looks like. once you get into the details neither side is willing to compromise. interestingly enough Gaza is the easy case, but if you try and draw a hard line in the west bank and say Israel cannot settle outside of it without breaching international law the zionists will go nuts.

inb4 this eventually happens some time in the future and the commies cry foul once Israel shuts off water/power, because you dont supply your neighboring sovereign nations with power and water.

Israel played monkey games with trump and also holding up the show. Now they finding out what happens. Whether you like him or not, 2nd term trump is not the person to fuck with. He almost got killed for this position and he clearly has nothing to lose.

Israel needs to understand that America is their master. Talk of Israel having America in its pocket should not be happening, it must be clear that Israel is the dependent client state and thus Israel and its citizens must show humble deference to America and its citizens. Trump is beholden to his base (a guy in office actually representing his voters, a rare thing in this day and age) who are not happy about Israel's influence over them and their uppity behaviour and attitudes.
