It's grains are not as tight and thus makes for weaker wood that is more prone to warping.
Back in the day, lumber had a tighter grain, it was more difficult to drive a nail or screw into.
This stuff they use to build homes now is grown in about half the time and it really shows on the quality of the wood.
you will say the same thing when its all gone, then u will have no oxygen and no "tighter" grain because you never addressed the problem and instead made a cheap excuse to butcher.
enough of the nonsense plz. the Japanese would blacken the outside of the wood to make it weather proof. you can easily fortify the cheaper lumber with a smoke cured resin.
