I will never understand the bizarre fantasy economically illiterate racists have with removing brown people from white countries.

If all South Asians left Canada overnight, our healthcare system would collapse, tech companies would fail, and entire towns would lose essential services. Removing a huge segment of working-age people would cripple the economy and pension systems.

Canada’s economy has always relied on immigrants—from Irish and Italians in the past to South Asians and Filipinos today. Without them, we’d be poorer and weaker.

:bonk:

The problem with the internet is you don't know what race people are. I guarantee this fool is Indian

You have never thought about the problem then.
In your fantasy of importing brown people at best is a stopgap measure to kick a problem 15-20 years down the road, until the next time more brown people are needed.
This didn't work out in a lot of European countries where importation of brown people exacerbated the problem of social welfare funding that it was supposed to fix.
In the short term this displaces the Canadian worker, and their wages, and drives up the price of housing.
I'm sure if you asked Canadians today if they would rather have no pension system and be euthanized when they can no longer take care of themselves, or import infinite numbers of Indians, they would pick the former.

canada got along fine pre 2020 before this mass immigration of brown people. in fact, while i was growing up during the 1990s, there were barely any indians and canada was AMAZING.

this line you are spewing is a load of horseshit.

Ah yes, the magical ‘90s—when you were a kid with no bills, no responsibilities, and no clue how the economy actually worked. Let’s unpack this:

Canada’s economy has always relied on immigrants. The ‘90s saw massive immigration too—just from different places (Hong Kong after the handover, Eastern Europe post-USSR collapse, refugees from the Balkans). The idea that Canada was ‘better’ with fewer brown people is pure racist nostalgia, not reality.

The ‘90s were economically brutal for many Canadians. Unemployment hit 11%, wages stagnated, and social services were gutted by austerity. If you think that was ‘amazing,’ it’s only because you weren’t the one trying to find a job or pay a mortgage.

Today’s problems aren’t caused by immigrants—they’re caused by bad policy. Housing shortages? Decades of underbuilding and speculation. Wage stagnation? Corporate greed and weak labor laws. Healthcare delays? Chronic underfunding, not ‘too many brown people.’

Without immigrants, Canada would be in demographic collapse. Our birth rate is 1.4—far below replacement level. If we stopped immigration tomorrow, we’d face a crisis worse than Japan’s aging population: no workers to fund pensions, no nurses to care for boomers, and no tax base to keep the country running.

So no, the ‘90s weren’t ‘better’ because there were fewer Indians—they were just easier for you because you were a kid. Maybe instead of blaming immigrants for your adult struggles, you should direct that energy at the corporations and politicians actually screwing over working Canadians.

The classic racist cope: ‘Anyone who disagrees must be brown.’ Newsflash: You don’t need to be Indian to understand basic economics—or basic decency. Your obsession with race says more about you than it does about Canada.

You have never thought about the problem then.

Your argument is a mix of myths and bad faith. Immigrants aren’t a ‘stopgap’—they’re net contributors who pay taxes, fill labor gaps, and sustain pensions. Without them, Canada’s aging population would collapse social services right now, not ‘in 20 years.’ Wage suppression is a corporate scam, not an immigrant one—CEOs love blaming immigrants while they exploit temp visas and suppress wages. Focus on labor laws, not scapegoats. Housing crises are caused by speculation and underbuilding, not newcomers. Toronto built more homes in the ‘70s with half the population. Blame investors and NIMBYs, not immigrants. And your ‘euthanize the elderly’ fantasy is unhinged. Immigrants are the reason your grandparents have home care and your parents will get pensions. Try facts instead of rage-bait.

And it's funny you talk about economics. I've personally met Mark Carney & other top federal Canadian economists because my family is involved, our nation is Anglo and you won't change that

What do you have some fake Indian BA in economics?

How amusing that someone who name-drops Mark Carney doesn't seem to understand what actual economists keep saying: Immigration is what's keeping Canada's economy from collapse. The Bank of Canada, StatsCan, and every credible analysis shows we need immigrants to maintain our workforce, tax base and pensions - facts you'd know if you'd paid attention during those elite meetings you keep mentioning. Maybe next time you're having canapés with these important people, ask them why Canada's fertility rate is 1.4 and what exactly happens to our economy without immigration? Though something tells me you're better at dropping names than understanding them.

You have to admit this really sounds like an Indian posted this, next you will be telling how much superior you are.
The fact that you chalk up all of Canada's real problems that the Trudeau administration even admitted was due to too much migration, in too short a period of time, on a grand conspiracy of the capitalists supporting you.

You: ‘Immigration bad!’
Every economist: ‘Here’s why we’ll collapse without it.’
You: ‘Must be a brown capitalist conspiracy!’
Never change
