Can the New York Knicks really win the 2025 NBA Finals? They had some great teams with Carmelo Anthony and were never this good! Last time the Knicks won the NBA Finals was 1973 and they had Phil Jackson, Walt Frasier and Earl 'The Pearl' Monroe on their roster... As old as I am I wasn't even born in that decade. I'm an '80s kid. And I did enjoy the Houston Rockets beating the New York Knicks in a full 7 games during the 1994 NBA Finals. The O.J. Simpson chase interrupting a live game during that series.

Kudos to the Knicks if they can keep it up. I'm worried the Western Conference team, whoever it is, may end their dream year with a crushing defeat in the 2025 NBA Finals. I'm low key cheering for the Golden State Warriors because I'm not bitter and I respect Steve Kerr. I also like their team full of good shooters and some elite defenders. Just sucks Stephen Curry has that injury. No doubt in part because the Rockets made him work extra hard in that first round. Curry said after Game 7 it was the toughest playoff series, physically, that he's ever played.

Fair to say. But he was so good at the peak of his career. Elite scorer. Also they had Mike D'Antoni as their head coach. He couldn't get over the hump in Houston either.

Elite Scorer doesn't mean shit. There are tons of elite scorers and Melo thinks he is a Jordan , Lebron , Kobe.
He is a narcissistic, selfish, self centered, all glory to him and him only player. He is there for the money and some records that is all.

The closest good team New York Knicks ever had for the past 30 years was the Patrick Ewing Period , but too bad , there was Michael Jordan...so there you go.
