that is totally possible, that I dont quite understand

If you check page 3 post #23 and #29 you can see what I can configure. I cannot set anything to XMP except setting "memory profile" to "XMP profile 1" or "XMP profile 2". Profilie 1 is 5200 and profile 2 is 4700. it then automatically sets all parameters. I dont dare to set parameters myself manually.

It’s true that HP business models don’t support XMP but consumer, specifically gaming models should support it… You’ve even shown pictures of an XMP Profile so not sure what they’re smoking unless it’s not true XMP?

If you're having problems with GPU memory why are you messing with DRAM?
Roll back your Nvidia driver to your last used version and see if that fixes it

Since 2024 I am having troubles with running multiple d2r instances and also experienced crashes (like blue screen) - also with other games if I remember right.


So summarized I can say that I am rocking:
1.) 13th gen 13700K cpu with voltage issues, which possibly could degenrate my CPU due to "electromigration"
2.) 24H2 windows which is also known to have Compatibility and Application Issues for gaming
3.) new RAM with XMP-ratings which doesnt work with my BIOS, as this is required to work with JEDEC, yet still I can choose XMP profiles on my Motherboard/BIOS ...

Have u tried just using the new RAMS without the old, does yr GPU still goes to the limit?

5200 didnt boot
4800 booted and worked at 4800

I am currently just using my old 2x RAM's

I have this issue as well. Sometimes when i hit a mob that released charged bolt with 2 screen the whole PC locks up. Task manager says I am at 85% usage with 16gb ram. I have a 4060TI.
My old computer had a 1080Ti with 16gb ram and I ran 2 windows No problem. I also have 24h2 which I read is causing many issues w. games. I have XMP set to profile 1. If I close out Chrome I am at 75% and still crash occasionally. My gfx card reads 35% usage while running two windows and 23% usage on Cpu. I have a 14th gen chip as well. Hard diagnose if its the chip or the New windows update.

yeah ... that sucks man.

idk atm I am not doing anything, I am also not really playing games. I hope there will be a windows update soon so at least we can eliminate one factor

Yeah Bc Im stumped. And to play classic ladder. You need a loader to ease things up.

I see other people playing 2 windows with 16gb No problem. But when I launch it after like 4-5 games my PC locks up or my one window crashes. There was some sort of update for windows. I had to reboot for it. No change still. I even close out my web browser to gain an extra 2gb of free ram. That doesn't change much, ,while my Task manager says i have 2-3gb of free ram space when I launch both windows. My ram reads 75%-80% usage.

5mins ago I had a sudden spike (CPU - according to windows task manager). it froze for like 5 seconds, but came back alive. I was playing 2x D2R and besides that, I had absolutely no other processes running, except the standard ones.
now, 5 mins later, my computer just shut down.

I am going to open a ticket now
