I really don't think there is any genetic distinction or difference which would justify forming two baskets of people, with whites, Latin Americans (many of which are very dark-skinned btw) and East Asians on the one side, and Africans, Arabs and South Asians on the other. If that's where you want to draw the dividing line, it imho has to be justified on cultural, rather than on genetic grounds.
My groupings are more or less accurate.
Whites and Asians are kin, descendants of Japheth. There existed a continuous path of migration across northern Asia, Europe and America (Siberia-Alaska land bridge).
Blacks are the most genetically distant from all other peoples. The only extant descendants of Ham along with Indians, they are genetically distant due to the impassable Sahara desert. Egyptians and Canaanites are extinct. The Indians are genetically distant due to the Himalayan mountain range.
Descendants of Shem include Hebrews (*real* Jews, nearly extinct), Persians, Arabs and Mesopotamians. Shem descendants are closer to us (Japheth) than Ham descendants, who were cursed.
It mostly comes down to geography and migration.
