The effects from the tarriffs are due to wreck everyones shit here pretty soon

Thought about stocking up the food storage with dry and canned goods here while prices are still moderately okay

If you're worried about that kind of thing then maybe you should look for another job that pays better or something. No need to stock up.

Some people feed a whole family.

Not just themselves and their cat family.

But you do you boo-boo, assume people can't afford it just because they want to save money from buying in bulk.

Would stock up on the good foreign rice brands that you use for jasmine or basmati. Doubt long or medium grain will get effected. and maybe like the variety of sugars I use for baking and such.
I don't use canned food much so I don't wanna do that. And if I had a deep freezer I might consider the frozen stuff I consume.

Same thing goes for people with families. Too many families are created with lack of income to provide for them correctly. The issue there isn't the tariffs, but their lack of preparedness. That's their fault.

Prices are only one component
Shelves will start to thin as less materials come into port

Eh. I could be wrong, but I think shelves will only thin if people keep mass buying everything like they did with toilet paper.

I'm personally not worried at all.

You can watch some reruns of Doomsday Preppers.

Got some ideas.
