“I challenge you not merely to use your talents for financial speculation but to apply your great skills that you’ve learned and had to forging the steel and pouring the concrete of new American factories, plants, shipyards, and even cities which are going up all over our country"- Donald Trump
Anyone care to explain what the hell this even means? When has obtaining a business degree become a benefit while pouring concrete?
Hello,
My dad owned a construction company. In fact his money left me set for a very long time until I was on my own. Having a business degree and specializing in real estate (where Trump made a huge sum of money) could absolutely be helpful when you are shopping for supplies and making deals with contractors. Price hikes/declines and economic hardships hurt the construction and real estate business daily. Knowing those business markets is very important.
I’m pretty sure you didn’t think about that aspect but a lot of construction business owners have business degrees.
Now will the ideas he SAYS he has work in reality the way the modern USA is shaped? I doubt it lol.
