Is there proof he didn’t? Last I heard in 2019 he had to flip script and say he was refunding his donations from big pharma because he “never really wanted them” after his campaign was failing.
That’s a Google search away btw.
(I’m not sure how much he’s ever gotten from big pharma but he has received donations from them.)
Apparently Bernie is VERY KNOWN for lying about where contributions really come from.
https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2020/mar/09/alexandria-ocasio-cortez/bernie-sanders-has-taken-corporate-lobbyist-money-/I wonder how many politicians take money from people they say they are against then try to play it off?
In his current campaign, according to the Center for Responsive Politics, Sanders has received contributions from at least two federally registered lobbyists. They include
$100 from EY lobbyist Dave Koshgarian, whose clients include Boeing Co., MetLife Inc. and New York Life Insurance; and
$27 from Netflix lobbyist Josh Korn.
Did you read the article you yourself linked? Totally got Bernie with the 2 to 3 digit dollar amounts there, corrupt as one can be kek.
"Ocasio-Cortez said Sanders has "never taken corporate lobbyist money in his entire political career."
In at
least a few cases during his campaigns for Senate and president, Sanders did accept contributions in the
hundreds of dollars, or thousands, from registered lobbyists who represent corporations.
We rate the statement False."
@Elite: I will run a halfmarathon this weekend, not the first either. I am also still playing a competitive teamsport in my mid thirties at a reasonably high level. So your prejudices are as usually wrong, while none of you disproved my prejudice of you being idiots yet. Anytime though.
