Millionaire or Billionaire makes no difference they are all notoriously against the working class. Don’t forget the champion of the working class Bernie Sanders own net worth is in the millions.

If you're remotely intelligent or have a skillset that's not common its not exactly groundbreaking to have a few million in networth by 83 while still working all the way to 83 and still working full-time. Especially if he bought any homes back in time. A senator for 25 years now which is in the higher earning class.

I don't think calling Berni a millionaire is what people think it is when you consider the guys age and the fact he's still working and you take into account he's been a senator for 25 years.

Very rudimentary basic investing at a Senators salary would get you to multi-millionaire status easily unless you let lifestyle creep takeover.

Honestly a guy working and still working at 83 while only having a few million in net-worth and still hammering away with a 180K salary is probably as close to the working class as you're gonna get in politics in the USA.

Then at the top end you have pure garbage. Rick, Nancy, Vern, Mark, Darrell, Daniel, Pete, hundreds of millions of dollars each and all younger then Bern.

This has been true historically, and checks out for Boomers, but I have grave concerns about Millennial and younger. Boomer resplendence came from the post-war hyper abundance driving prices low as well as a boom generation which provides a ton of labor, ever-rising GDP and stock/real estate prices, and a robust consumer market. Of course you can still make a few million as an average Joe who reaches his final years but it takes a hell of a lot more than just holding a job now, even a really good one. Exceptions for DINKs and silver spooners, I guess.

Did you read what you posted in the OP. Trump literally says that you need to be patient for changes to take effect which is probably what any economist would tell you. The rot is running deep it's gonna take some drastic measures and time to cut it out

As somewhat of an expert in this field i can tell you that the most likely outcome of trumps current actions is a recession, possibly bigger than 2008, i predict by late 2026, get back to me on it.

Copout sorry. Over half the nation isn’t able to be worth millions. That half is a huge part of how the country runs. They are needed.

Also calling being a career politician working is pathetic. The term “career politician” shouldn’t even exist and is part of the problem.

“83 year old career welfare recipient” is more appropriate.

Don't think that's a copout... You expect him to just deny his basic salary? Indexing with that salary will get you to multimillionaire easily by 83... I mean you need to know virtually nothing about investing to hit that on his basic salary which as a rep I don't find that high. 180k or so I believe.

And it's not oh he's the best rep becsuse every single American can easily achieve that. That's absurde we pay people more who are brighter or offer more value. I don't know if you're advocating for communism here or what.

I expect the US government not to allow career politicians as ALL career politicians are corrupt.( not that non career ones aren’t but ones in it for 10+ years are 100%)

He’s realistically worth at least 2mil probably closer to 5.
