So most of you would probably agree that having fun + some extra xtrading value in this game would make things better, right?


As in every pbbg, we get this one main currency, so whoever xtrades in, will want it 100% of the time (in queslar, ele, ava and many more it's simply gold)


Now, with this game... All of you had to notice that somehow credits are being less and less desired.

Why? -> Because in order to go further, we mostly need res. Ok, but wouldn't be better to seek credits and then easily buy res off the market? Wouldn't be better to focus on one stupid thing to xtrade and send to others?

I am sure that most of you would agree that it's easier to focus on one main thing (whether you xtrade in or out).


Yet, if you look at the Market, there are not that many res and things are not well established. Why? Because those that xtrade in decided to buy res directly here (for fg) and that leads to bad things like:

- not possible for ppl that want to just play the game (without xtrade) to proceed further cuz not enough res to buy
- prices won't be naturally established and fair


And why did it happen in the first place?

- Perhaps this market just doesn't work too well (yet) and need some tweaking :/ But either way, we should use it, cuz it's more healthy for the game!


So, I want to know what are your thoughts on that and if you agree with me, perhaps you should stop selling res for fg and simply start placing them on the market. If we all do so, I am sure that it will be mostly about credits here - on the jsp market

I mean eventually credits comes into play for station building cost, boosting your clone/drone stats but its too early for that end-game sink.

first off, lol @ asking us to use the market on jsp forum of all places.
2nd , the market functions suck and are buggy. i cant be the only one that tries to FILL A SELL ORDER and the sell order stays and my buy order is created at the same time. so in the case of your crying, i literally tried, and game wouldnt let me

I think the bottleneck here is much rather that everyone who plays the game progresses into that very same direction…

Other games have battlers, harvesters, etc. Or like queslar where you can focus on pushing some areas of the game with gold, other with relics etc.

In Stellar, everyone eventually travels through the galaxy, therefore needs warp capsules and therefore needs every single ressource there is in the game in a damn big bunch.

That makes the game be played by 2 parties - pure xtraders and those who really want to progress - i think thats more of a challenge in the early days

it'll fix itself in time as resource eventually will go significantly up in price when credits gains get more and more and people want to explore the galaxy for them free stat points

no more free stat points

but Hein said there will be a way to get those somehow other than lvl up !

90% of these ppl dont play anyway and just want to make quick fg, hence them undercutting each other constantly
