Congrats, izParagonzi. I'm also having fun playing this cool event but it's simply stretching my patience
This event isn't all that great for me on Hardcore because the Marketplace is just so frustratingly slow.

I'm literally giving white items. A 50 Staff (20 FG), 50 Earth Charm (20 FG) and 45 Staff (8 FG).
And it's still taking time. On Softcore all three plain items are 40, 40, 20. 100 quick & easy FG.

After 15 long hours I finally lowered the price a third time. I just want to make it back to 200 Forum Gold at this point.
So that's why I'm not terribly disappointed. For my time investment I don't feel like we're on equal footing with Softcore.

I hear you... it took a while for me to make fg back from buying white items to Well and sell them back on MP to replace what I spent or make a profit. Hardcore player base is fucking bad, prices are atrocious in comparison to SC ... however, those playing SC don't compare with HC since they never lose the items they are using, and when I suggested adding in Durability to items everyone cried... however my suggestion was based on SC alone, but we don't have different cores, so mechanics are only beneficial for SC, and yet they expect more FG from items that they will never die... talk about shit.

Oh... even if they introduce Durability now, those that have previous items will be even worth a ton more FG, can you imagine the HC prices of old items? What happened to unspawnable items? worth more nowadays, pity they are pretty much only SC items.

Anyway... those that want to play safe and never lose items, they play SC, as for Hardcore players... they are Hardcore because they continue on with death and loss of items and profs gained... anyone that wants to argue my statement, they should be made aware that I have died 5 times (minimum) and losing 6 times MQ equipment that can not be replaced.

I agree. It's still super fun though. This event was highly productive. I can't complain because I had fun and it felt engaging. Also I'm making a push to Rank 21 Club Proficiency. I could be there sometime today. I've been sacrificing my Heal Proficiency progression and playing my Guardian more like a Barbarian just to earn a few extra Club Proficiency points. Otherwise I'd probably have Rank 23 Heal Proficiency by now. I pride myself on balance but lately I've just been clubbing away. Putting that foot on the gas and playing more recklessly.

I'd like to see people being able to obtain the maximum character slots that people who created characters a long time ago still have. It's an unlucky advantage that some people have only because they never deleted those characters. Even if it cost some Forum Gold (let's say 50 or 100) to purchase one extra character slot, up to the maximum amount of character slots, that would seem appealing. You should be able to comfortably hoard white items on Hardcore character slots since they don't sell as fast as Softcore. I literally have two mules on Hardcore right now full of Level 20 and 25 white items because they don't sell that fast and I'm backed up like a broken pipe.

Also I believe shields should be added to this game in some type of capacity. Especially for Guardians that use Clubs. LOL. I can dream anyway... <3

Nice post... I have to ask... how are you sacrificing Healing Prof for Weapon Prof (Club) or vice versa???

I can only explain it my way and playing style.

#1 If 3 monsters spawn, and I kill off two of them within 20 actions (thinking club) ... the maximum prof points for the weapon will be like 3, so I have to get 7 more prof points... hmm, the last monster could die in 2 actions, that means I have a chance of gaining 0-2 club prof points (loss of 5) ... SO, I could actually gain more Healing prof (normal casts and not ability cast) to max out the 10 Prof point gain per Monster Spawn wave.

So... are you playing LS on phone or PC? ... when I play (always PC) I have my Prof table up, and I can see the +1 signal that I gained it on that item I am using... say Club or Heal or Element cast.

Oh dang it... Shields... next would be Bow (main hand) and Arrows in Main or ACC slots. :D The main thing that would help the Guardian build... Elemental Holy Divination (an innate ability) that adds an Element damage to Physical Damage. Maybe when choosing the Guardian character, you choose an Element that is added... say 1% element damage (magical) based on successful hit check... would be good versus Soften the Sneaky Shell... also, any items worn with the same Elemental Master increases the damage.

I've been solo slashing. When I first started playing my Hardcore Guardian. I was zooming up the Heal Proficiency Ladder. Eventually I made it to the top of the Heal Ladder on Hardcore. I was nearly three full levels ahead on my Heal Proficiency over my Club Proficiency. Now it's getting a lot closer between the two. I'll soon be Rank 21 Club and I'm still at Rank 22 Heal. The way I'm playing now I'll probably surpass my Heal Proficiency with my Club Proficiency at some point.

I wouldn't have to go back to town when I constantly used my Heal charm. I could remain in every fight. Even vs. harder monsters at level 50-71. But now I tend to use my Healing a lot less. I just club until my life bar goes down playing like I would on my old Softcore Warhammmer Barbarian. And that Warhammer Barbaian died like 6 or 7 times. But my life bar is still over 3500 even if I'm overwhelmed. Club attacks are so fast compared to Warhammer. It's been easy for me to adjust to the faster pace.

EDIT: I should say it in an easier way. I'm not rotating as often. Before I would heal and club. Now I just mostly club.
Every now and then I'll heal myself because that's the one advantage I have over a Barbarian. I don't heal as often now.

Before I would heal every chance I had. I wouldn't even risk my life bar going down below 75%. Now I'm good with it going to 30 or 40%.

Nice going, I looked at your toon and I have to say... WTF, why haven't you got rankings in other weaponry / heals on that same character (toon)???

Here is an example based on your Guardian with Rank 20 Club and 0 Rank prof points to Heavy Weapons? You should use heavy weapons from Level 1 to level 21 gaining prof points during those levels, then switch to Club from level 21+ (since you have the clubs) ... also do this with OTHER heal type charms to level 23 (gaining pros for Wild or Focus). During level 1 to 21, you are NOT gaining other prof points.

To improve your prof point gain, you should be welling whites... say you are level 25, find a Well, and you drop in a White level 15 items into a well... attack, normally your first 15 attacks will be +10 maximum prof points and you kill off the monster within 30 actions (depending on your club ee and level).

You have a lot to learn Padawan... mao.

It's going to take every ounce of energy I have to reach Rank 25 Club Proficiency though.
The top spot for Hardcore Club Ladder is a high Level 24. I'm about to hit Rank 21 right now.

I've thought of using other weapons and charms to level up. But i can kill much faster with what I have.
It doesn't take me long to solo from Level 1 to 23 (what I need to get points on Heal). I'd rather go fast.

And also if I start gaining Proficiency points on other weapons. I'll become addicted and want to be the top spot for that. I'd rather not do that to myself. <3

True. How about this in your next run.

Go Barbarian. (can use club, sword), has higher Strength starting base including dexterity, so... stat point placement to equal Guardian is Int ... 5 base, so first 50 acquired to Int ... 40 to Vita (if 100 is your normal base) ... So 85 stat points... start minimum is 10, so you will not add any points to str, rely on +str gear... same as Guardian that only starts with 30 Str, barn 60 str (???) ... so work it out. This also applies with abilities... Retribution (Barb ability) and Salvation (Guardian ability) ... these two would be your norm right, so add appropriately to your play style.

I have been playing different characters on HC ... I create 1 Barb and 1 Guardian and use the same gear, my stat placement is consistent... 100 base vitality (both toons) ... as for Barbarian... 30 base Intelligence... the rest is Strength, as for abilities Retribution + Salvation... I don't use EE armor to Master Quest... as for Samurai... again, 100 base Vita and 30 Base Int ... however a Samurai can not use a Club... thus the reason of my feeder climbs. :lD

Add your first starting point

EDIT: Ahh... just realized you are a whistler ... your toon is level 53 and hasn't completed any objectives.
