And another Canadian liberal government. That's how fast Trump makes people reconsider being conservative.

Took just two months of him being erratic to make Canada go from a total landslide conservative win back to an easy layup for the liberals.

Wild honestly. Before Trump my bet was total blue wave (conservative)

And to no surprise Bern lost his own riding again.

Honestly I feel a little scammed here. I like many Canadians just wanted even a chance at change. Somehow everything flipped so fast.

Unfortunate. Can only hope that this new liberal platform goes e better directions but it's all honestly the same players who will have the same agenda. Well is what it is I suppose.

Yup, don't hold your breath for it.
That would be like Californians hoping they get a rational State and local government that looks after their private property interests.

The Taylor Swift bill Is being sold to Americans as a bill protecting "everyday Americans" from "revenge porn"
Of course Tomas Massie was the only Republican to stand up for our interests and vote NO

I legit find it hilarious that Canadians voted in the guy who is going to continue Trudeauism and the wholesale selling of Canada's economy, stability, etc. Just because Trump is orange. Yes that's right, America still lives rent free in all corners of every Canadian's brain. You could be voting in conservative leaders who might take a crack at saving your economy and culture but it was not meant to be. SAD!

If anything you should be wary. It just shows how fast Trump was able to switch people back to liberal given the polling prior. I say this as someone who was seeking a conservative government.

If could send you guys into a multi term democratic government. Regardless if that hurts the feels to consider, that's a pretty real possibility. I've never seen such a large % of the population switch so fast back to liberal.

Now more than likely if things sour it just goes to another 4 years of Dems and it's not some multi term disaster.

Can't edit my previous post, but a decent losing speech to be honest. At-least it embodies democracy and its not full of hate. When your party starts booing the opposition the right thing to do is tell them to stop and say no, pay respect to the democratic process.

People’s memories are too short and the reach of conservative media/propaganda is too strong. Donald trump was historically unpopular at the end of his first term and still won re-election 4yrs later.

If things continue trending the direction they’re going it’ll be strong for democrats in 2 and 4yrs time. But I would doubt the reach would extend beyond that timeframe. A- there is usually some amount of backlash to the party in power. B- It’s amazing how powerful the Fox News’s reach can be. You tell people often enough that water isn’t wet and the sky isn’t blue and eventually they just… believe it.
