benzos should not really be used long term the withdraw can kill you its far worse then alcohol and heroin its not surprising they tried everything else first
I've been on everything. And I mean EVERYTHING. Unfortunately I can't live without them or function. My anxiety is crippling and I'd be disabled otherwise. I never wanted to get back on them. But it's the only way I'll ever have quality of life. Some people absolutely need them, most don't and just abuse them. But I'm one of the very few cases that can't live without them. It sucks. But I'm able to live now , work, be a normal human being
Trust me I know the risks haha. I've quit them so many times to try and find other alternatives. But after 50+ meds and not going outside for 5 years I needed to get back on them. I also took a genesite test that tests what meds work with your brain and benzos were the only ones in the the green. I've quit Xanax cold turkey 5 times because I didnt want to be on them, but ive finally accepted I need them. I take 1mg Klonopin 3x per day now. Without it I'd be having 10 panic attacks a day for simply existing and wouldn't be able to work or function
