Because the sixers were the most injured team in the league. They had no shot of wining anything if they were playing a g-league team half the season. No Embiid for 90% of the season = no shot. Let alone PG playing on a bum knee in the few games he did play, etc. This was one of the best rosters in the league entering the season so stop acting like I had some hot take saying they'd be good..we allll said there's a big IF around health with them, so stop acting like it was some hot take 😂

Lakers were never going to make a deep run as I said. Healthy or not.The Luka trade was long term, but the fit currently was horrible because their defense is still ass and they have no bigs to protect the rim. Jackson was sooo fucking sure they were a lock to make the WCF's and was so confident despite the fit clearly not being a good one with all of the holes the Lakers have. They were a terrible defensive team WITH Anthony Davis, one of the best defenders in the league. What did we think was gonna happen with him gone in place of a pylon like Luka? Just common sense observations really...

It's hilarious to me that people actually believed luka and lebron would do anything this year. Neither of those dudes play defense... Almost as delusional as all the "76ers winning the east" takes you had.
