Been having a issue for the last few weeks, able to log in and enter a game but as soon as I switch to another character I get a server down.
It only last roughly 5 minutes, but it happens everytime I switch a character


anyone have a fix/ solution for this


D2 lod , Useast server if it matters

Sounds normal. Blizzard really doesn't care about those servers anymore.

You should still be able to do item xfers you'll just have to sit in game for longer.

ive explained a bit what i figured out in that thread

its all tide up since they restarted the server 3 weeks ago, all these issues came togheter

i only get the "15 minute cooldown ban" if i join games too fast while xfering.
4 character switches within 5 minutes usually gives you a boot. (unless it was 3..?)
you can.. bypass this..

join game with character #1 (account 1)
join game with character #2 (account 1)
join game with character #3 (account 1)
join game with character #4 (account 2) (to reset the cooldown timer)
join game with character #5 (account 1)
join game with character #6 (account 1)
join game with character #7 (account 1)
join game with character #8 (account 2) (to reset the cooldown timer)

and so on. fast xfer w/o getting the 15 min ban.


but i have a different problem.
if i leave a game and switch characters i get to the main join/create game menu and within like 1 second it says "server down" and cant join game.
so i have to go to character select window and re-select the guy i wanna use.. THEN join the game..
its fkin annoying.

Not for me

its a normal cool down, where you save and exit fast

its happen almost every time when I join with the first char then leave and go in with another char

it never used to do this when i played like 4 years ago.
any idea why its literally every game like you said?
