Def a good spin to an old RuneScape concept of a game. RPG survivalist game. Tons of customization with building. Xp super easy to stack (you can have multi stations going and have people make stuff for you) and when the piles are done just pick up the piles to get loads of xp.

Definitely limited on what’s available. The dragon that storms the place is fucking busted. Vault runs are cool. Was hard at first bc it’s not just spam offense stuff like osrs where you don’t worry about defense nearly as much. Dodging blocking/parrying is a big part. Buffs are good too.

Last 2 days I’ve spent a few hours each just having fun making a nice house and all the outfits.

Debatable, ffxiv sub count is usually higher even without new patches, while wow pulls ahead briefly only during a xpac launch.

I wonder why. FF end game is good, but no where near as challenging. Mind you thats ony from what is seen/heard.

ultimates are like mythic on crack.

TOP (omega protocol) took ~150 hours to clear. (this is ONE boss)
Another top guild cleared it after ~1700 pulls.

FFXIV is unforgiving for mistakes and addons that help like (Dbm/weakauras) are banned. Comparing it to the most recent RWF in wow, liquid looks to have cleared mythic gally+rest of bosses in less than 500 pulls.
