Your armor needs to be changed... it is the lowest physical defense armor out of all types ... robe / padded / leather / scale / chain & plate. You are taking more dps than normal... even a level 35 (or 40) White Scale / Chain or Plate will help you kill faster ... White meaning no stats on it at all.

Think about it... less damage taken = more time to deal damage to kill them off without going to town to regen ... faster kill speed and faster climb time. You might find something on MP cheaper than a white armor though.

Armor would usually be more important than the charm for Barbarians right? Both can have helpful bonus stats, but the armor value itself is meaningful whereas the charm’s active effect will probably never be used because of the low int stat?

Both on armor and charm equally important. And yes, wont be casting with a stat charm as EE wont be a draw of a stat.

I was referring to your Armor only when I viewed your profile where your toon was at level 41ish.

Level 15 Robe (not padded) and XX strength ... even if you had perfect strength of 30, it would not be that great @ level 40+ vs a level 35 Leather / Scale + armor with 0 Strength stat.

In time you will have a feel of what works for you.
