The sad thing about the Democrat party is they completely abandoned even pretending anymore. Everyone in the know knew they weren't a working class party after NAFTA and the WTO. They still lionize Clinton, despite selling out the middle class to the fetish of globalization. They gave enough lip service for sure. Enough union leaders they could get on board. They talked about having to have billionaires pay their "fair share." They never talk about breaking up there international corporations they have total control over market forces, industrial policy and wage agreements. Their response to the tariff game, their abandonment of the white working class, that demonstrated it to anyone with eyes and ears.
This is the insidious nature of calling Trump supporters Deplorables, but that really deserves it's own thread since it is a window to the perceptions held by establishment Democrats. They grow to hate who they harm.
