If you have faith, here is what i think probably happened: currently in heaven, Pope Francis no longer suffers from the state of his disabled body on earth, just as my grandfather was at the end of his life, who no longer had legs and whom my grandmother always courageously took care of.
They had a life filled with love for their loved ones and went to heaven like those who have left us and whom we love, we can be grateful for this opportunity to leave a disabling physical condition to reach a spiritual and loving condition, whether currently on earth or later in heaven, Pope Francis already had a spirit of love so we can conclude that he did not go through purgatory but directly joined the kingdom of God.
The Vatican and the Catholic Church is famous for a particular act of cruelty to children that I'm sure would forbid many priests, most likely including the Pope, from being accepted into Heaven.
