I feel i should update everyone..
its been a coming up to a month since my stroke. and little to no advancement for muscle control in my left hand/fingers. i can squeeze in slightly. but still cannot straighten or flex my hand or fingers back. cannot support the weight of my hand by my wrist; but can get it to curl inward. currently using a wrist brace to support the weight of my hand.
to co-inside with the stroke, the docs believe i tore a radial nerve and possibly a ligament (while having no feeling in my left side).. 4/5 chance i will need surgery, that is only about 20% successful in repairing damage..
yes i smoke cigs, and drink around 4-6 beer a day (sometimes more), i have a healthy diet, i do not eat fast food frequently or often at all.. docs said my bloodwork came back amazing.. healthier than some non smokers that they have seen.. strokes and heart attacks are just genetic...
I havent really been on to slash and im sorry for not being as present as i should be. the only game i can manage to play is Gran turismo 7 on my ps4, using my racing wheel and paddle shifters/pedals.. slasher requires my left hand to have better reflexes than i currently have.
can say though... in a month of playing GT7 i have managed to go from 15% complete the game to 58% lol
cheers to all still pumping out the MQ's, i hope to be back soon...
Well the good think about this is... if you play softcote. Without half your body you'll still prolly have more actions than some people lol
But in all seriousness. I think prioritizing or even caring about LS should be last on your list of concerns. Everyone I've ever met that's played for a long time has needed a hiatus
Whether it be life or just disdain for the game lol
I truly hope you get well and recover 100% though. The game needs players.
