He ranked him 7, then Butler made the warriors a real team again and you have been embellishing the incorrect statement.

Meanwhile you told us Sixers would compete for a championship this year.

1) Yes. Dumbest shit I've ever seen someone say. Mf put Fox and Garland in the same category as arguably being better than Curry. How embarrassing.

2) Also yes, but only under the condition that Embiid would be relatively healthy when he did play (which was not the case). Then again, everyone thought they'd contend with 3x all-stars and a much improved roster, so it's not like that was a hot take? I mean they had top 7 championship odds entering the season lol.

Alot of people have been talking about Curry falling off, they were wrong same as about the sixers. The warriors were struggling bad before they got Butler, without that trade they probably miss the playoffs.

He still put him as a top 7 guard, it's not nearly as egregious as saying a lottery team is a championship team.

This is a weird take

76ers were a top 7 championship favorite entering the season. Decimated by more injuries than any other team in the league. They used more starting lineups than any other team in recent league history. Everyone had them booked as a very good team entering the season, barring Embiid being able to play like 50%+ of the season which he didn't even come close to. A ton of experts had them picked to make a deep run, for obvious reasons. Embiid and PG were injured all season and hardly played. Their 3x all-stars hardly played together in the same game (like 10-15 games max).

But calling Curry washed and saying he's not even a top 5 PG anymore? ABSOLUTELY RETARDED TAKE
