While Kevin Durant doesn't fit the Rockets timeline, as their top three players are 23, 22 and 22. He fits what they need. A proven veteran that can make big shots, consistently, and lead a team deep into the playoffs.

Losing this series would just mean the Rockets have a 95% chance to acquire Kevin Durant this summer. I wouldn't be too upset.
But it's Game 1. Ime Udoka is the head coach. Rockets won't go down this series without a fight. They'll cause a fight in Game 2.
I'm just disappointed they coughed up the home court advantage. Winning at the Warriors arena isn't easy. It'll be more hostile.

Rockets are showing some resiliency at least. Could've easily given up and gotten blown out. They've battled back to trail by 9 points after the 3rd quarter. Nice 17-3 run. Regardless of what happens in the 4th quarter I don't see why the Rockets can't win Game 2. Must win on the road now. Maybe this series will go a full 7 games. The winner of it will be completely exhausted going into the second round against the Timberwolves or Lakers. If the Warriors advance. Their three best players are old. So a deeper first-round series will affect them more than Houston.
