Way too many conditions and even medicines that make you gain weight. By the BMI have 90% of the people on this forum are probably overweight. Some probably don’t even realize it.

To my knowledge no country taxes fat people. Some tax unhealthy ingredients. Japan’s metabo law is the closest thing and basically they tax companies not individuals if a certain percentage of them have too large of a waist.

I'm 190 at 6"2 and like you said according to bmi I'm overweight 🤣
If anything most people trying to shove food down my throat saying I need to put on weight

BMI is the most useless "metric" ever. 190 at 6 2 isn't even close to overweight

On clearly unhealthy foods there should be tax. Pop, candy etc. Obviously guidelines on what qualifies would need serious consideration. Increase tax on tabacco products, booze, etc.

I think it's a pretty sad state when Southern American countries have better warning labels on shit foods than North America. Shows how much lobbying and rolling over our gov't does.

On people, no additional tax. Put it right on the products, make it not even possible for most to consume said items.

Thousands of Doctors and Scientists would disagree with you. RFK might agree with you though.

As much as I'd love to arbitrarily make fat peoples' lives even more miserable, this is like one step away from no mask tax or baldness tax and other shit like that
