Thank heavens Katy Perry made it back unscathed. Kim Jong is impressed

To be fair, everyone is turning on Katy Perry. People are sick of liberal elites.

I was more about the second order of stories on this news, first it was self-congratulatory media coverage of media owners calling it a feminist moment
Now its everyone acknowledging what a dumb stunt it is and even openly pointing out how it devalues prior feminist achievements.
Just like Jennifer Lawrence being the first female action hero but more ridiculous, the "first all female flight crew" is of course not. Valentina Tereshkova wasn't just the first woman in space, she was an actual cosmonaut who trained in skydiving for years, trained as an astronaut for years and underwent the same centrifuges, isolation chambers, thermo-chambers, decompression and pilot training as her male counterparts and carried out a solo flight on Vostok 6, spending 3 days in space. And of course, while America is jerking itself off over sending unqualified celebrity bimbos to space, Valentina Tereshkova is on our list of sanctions because she's a member of the Dumas and voted in favor of the Ukraine war. Its one of those real feminists vs hollywood feminist moments;

Quote
As planned in all Vostok missions, Tereshkova ejected from the capsule during its descent at about four miles above the Earth[35] and made a parachute landing 620 km (385 mi) north-east of Karaganda, Kazakhstan at 8:20 am UTC on 19 June.[32] Bykovsky landed three hours after her.[41]
Tereshkova later disclosed that she encountered challenges in managing her parachute due to violent gusts of wind.[42] However, she landed safely but received a bruise on her nose, then she had dinner with some local villagers in the Altai Krai who helped her to get out of her spacesuit.[43]

vs

Quote
Perry’s 4-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove, whom she shares with fiancé Orlando Bloom, was among the crowds of family, friends and space aficionados in attendance at the launch. (Khloé Kardashian and Kris Jenner were also there.) In honor of her daughter, Perry held a flower up in the air as she exited the capsule before celebrating the mission’s success by kissing the ground.

Calling it right now, World Press Photo of the Year 2026

I mean that in the sense that, this is what the actual photo of the year would be if that wasn't just another institutional captured by the same rabid antisemites attacking KFCs

I would of had some respect and credence for Karmelo Anthonys father saying "He a Good Boy" If he just came out and explained his son had a nigga moment.

Yeah exactly it would be him just telling the truth. And that's commendable in itself
