For kicks? I know its per weapon for ww but could the -res stack if the damage source was boot?

It’s not per weapon when using WW.
-res on item always works, no matter if its on weapon (main & off-hand) or off-weapon gear.

Here’s the full list of things that are applied per weapon (as you can see, -res is not specified so the -res from 2 plague for exemple is combined)

Hit Causes Monster to Flee
Ignore Target's Defense
Increased Attack Speed

Open Wounds
Piercing Attack
Poison Damage and length
Prevent Monster Heal
Reanimate

You would need chaos to use WW on a sin anyway... but if a barb using dual griefs is using normal attacks to trigger venom, then he will benefit form both grief's poison penetration.
Same with kicks if you use dual plague.

Thank you sir for that information i figure it combined but I didnt know it combined with ww. So a dual HOJ barb could ww with whatever combined -fire res

Yup

Elemental barb builds are obviously not as good as phys.
But I tried running those 2 builds and wasn’t disappointed :

Dual Hoj + FF + fire sunder with an enchant sorc and infinity merc.

Dual Doom + nightwing + cold sunder + inventory full of cold dmg scs.

Definitely not meta, but its fun for pvm on p1 :p

Also a frenzy build using dual cmoon + griff, to proc a lot of static fields with -95 light res

How do you think a dual plague venom kicksin would do? I know venom isn’t the best the begin with but it’d be interesting to use vs es sorcs for example

Venom doesnt work well with dtalon and WW cuz you hit so fast that the psn timer is just reset each hit so the total dmg isn’t super high.

Better rely on OW vs es sorc.
You can’t counter it, like you csn counter psn dmg with antidotes.

Since the application is so fast, How would you feel about kicksin with hoj or beast/phoenix and enchanted by sorc? Or would enchanted ww still be better


I feel like if I build a kicker thst stacks -fire and is enchanted it could be pretty devastating? Maybe pairs well with fire traps?

Thank for letting me know that also. I keep trying to make venom cool but it seems impossible
