People who don't understand vaccines are so quick to accept them as safe.
e- People who understand vaccines are so quick to accept them as safe.
Because they've been brainwashed into believing.
VAC'CINE, adjective [Latin vaccinus, from vacca, a cow.]
Pertaining to cows; originating with or derived from cows; as the vaccine disease or cow-pox.
vaccine
noun
1. a substance used to stimulate immunity to a particular infectious disease or pathogen, typically prepared from an inactivated or weakened form of the causative agent or from its constituents or products
The very nature of a 'vaccine' is to add something to the human body which it does not like, in order to Provoke a response.
It's harming yourself.
I am not anti-vax, this is not an anti-vax statement. It's acknowledging this layer of reality. For better or worse, the truth.
Turning this into a semantic matter? Nice.
I recommend "Kuby's Immunology", it was quite easy to read. You'll need a basic understanding of the human immune system in order to appreciate - or not - the point of vaccines.
We are inches away from a Shigella vaccine, not a very good one, but with high participation rates this could make an enormous impact in sub-Saharan Africa. We're 5-15 years off from being able to vaccinate against S. pyogenes, the cause of PSGN, rheumatic cardiopathy, necrotising fasciitis and scarlatina. Beliefs that stem from "I do my own research" at the "I read it on facebook once" level is what hampers advancement in health care. I fully understand this is not a problem at all for US citizens. Your current bottleneck is accessibility and that'll be the problem for another ten years to come.
The fact that vaccines activate the immune system (which is the whole fucking point btw) is exactly why they undergo far more rigorous trials and procedures and are much more looked at by ethical committees. The example of Pandemrix and, later on, AstraZeneca's sars-cov-2 vaccine, should tell you that much.
if you genuinely believe this is true and it is found to be verifiably false will you question other things you find to be true and can be shown to be false?
if you know it to be false, why repeat it? doesn't that damage your credibility to knowingly repeat false things?
He said on live television that IV desinfectants should be explored and only later nuanced it. My statement might have been a hyperbole on that, but it is not wrong.
"Will you question other things you find to be true if found to be verifiably false" is VERY rich coming from MAGA or anti vax. Perhaps take a bigass fucking look in the mirror because we're here discussing the correlation between autism and vaccines.
Here is a starting point for you, given to you on a silver platter. You can adjust syntax for use in cochrane's database, embase, scopus and web of science. I will assume, given your vigilance on the subject, that you are familiar with the Hierarchy of Evidence.

If you're so hellbend on your health and how the institutional level of society negatively impacts it, why not show the same level of vigilance towards microplastic? That's one cause that needs a lot more attention.
I find it puzzling how US citizens, now voting for an all-out-for-economy administration, keep questioning not those health practices with little to no evidence (such as chiropracticioning, osteopathy,...) but instead wish for the government to spend billions on new research to study that which has been studied excessively. I once bothered to sum up the amount of evidence in existence to disprove the use of ivermectin in sars-cov-2 to a guy in donor forum. The pandemic was not even over yet before I found FIFTY-TWO meta-analyses saying that the practice of gobbling up ivermectin for this purpose was bullshit. Even then, people were asking for evidence to show the benefit and harm of using ivermectin against sars-cov-2. The US population continues to ask for reinventing the wheel and shall always do so until it is educated or until the wheel has the shape that the population is told by their populist president of the time that they need.
