Trump and his regime were not allowed to deport Kilmar Abrego Garcia and he is either dead or not comming back by principle now. He was not convicted of any crime, so the US government is apparently just deporting innocent people to death camps three months in.

So an immigration court in 2019 ruled against this guy's asylum claim on the grounds that it found him to be a member of MS13, but granted him an order blocking his deportation to El Salvador in particular on the grounds that he'd be threatened by the rival Barrio 18 gang, and he stayed in the country because we wouldn't deport people to third countries.
This first point shows the utter insanity of our immigration courts, allowing gang members to stay in our country because of the same gang violence they are bringing to our country. The very fact of that insane ruling should be enough to tear down and totally reform our immigration system. There is no reason America should play host to all the people claiming they are at risk of domestic violence, gang violence, government persecution, drafting into africa wars, etc that effectively covers 50-100% of the world population, let alone people who are the cause of that violence.

Trump swept up known MS13 members and sent the to El Salvador. In this guy's case its a mistake since he had that oddball order barring his deportation to his home country despite being found a gang member. But its spilt milk, the government makes mistakes and it can't always correct them. As the supreme court noted, courts cannot compel foreign policy from the president and judge in this case sparked a constitutional crisis when he tried to infringe on the exclusive constitutional power of the president to conduct foreign policy. Ordering Trump to 'effectuate' an action from a soverign power is no different than ordering him to end the Ukraine War or ordering him to make peace with Iran. And funnily enough I was making that same argument a day before Trump's lawyers said it almost verbatim as the examples in their scotus filing

Just because the government has made a mistake does not mean it can necessarily rectify it, nor do courts necessarily have the power to do anything about it.
Of course the "mistake" in this case was failing to realize the courts had put in place an utterly insane order that no reasonable government official would expect to exist and so they had no reason to check.
