the thread defines atheism as

"Atheism means you don't believe in God or hate him"

and non religious as

"Non religious just means you love your life without concern of a higher power "

which following these strict definitions does not imply non religious has disbelief in a higher power, just an indifference to it.

if you include the "hate him" portion of atheism it complicates things though, it would be more clear to negate that portion of the definition.
