Everything we are seeing now are feints, bluffs, game of chicken to test everyone in the world.

We are literally being played by USA, China, Russia and coming very close behind is India.

If we don't go into a major world conflict, the world will be revovled around this four powers for the next 50 years. Everyone else are just NPC.

If the world is going to get lit there will be one country that will put a plug to it to prevent it from happening.

Sure that's something, given how spoiled many other countries are.
But I wouldnt really call them world power because of that.
At least not until they take over Germany and eastern Europe by force, being masters of genius german people would make Russian world power indeed.

You are too high on drugs. If they are not the " world power " pretty much in Military because of the Nukes. You would have , with NATO invaded and bomb them like Yugoslavia in the 90s, because of their incursion into Ukraine.

Nukes are a great defensive deterrent, but their usefulness as an offensive weapon or tool for power projection is extremely limited. And like you've said: in a conventional war, NATO could steamroll Russia with ease.

Russia's ability to project meaningful amounts of military power is pretty much limited to its own periphery. Messing around with mercenaries in failed African states doesn't change that.
And when it comes to the economic and cultural sphere, Russia's influence is just too small to qualify as a world power.

The world is moving toward a more multipolar order, with only the US and China being superpowers with global weight. The EU, India, Russia and Brazil will be the secondary powers, Saudi Arabia, Japan and Australia the tertiary ones.
