The atmosphere in the arena against Colorado was incredible last year. A 7-6 opening win had the city buzzing until Mac and company showed how things are actually done.

My wife was pretty gutted at the Jets effort. Tyler and Sean weren't exactly the all in move the team needed to get over the hump. This year has been pretty special for the Jets.

We should go see a game Patty

Lose today and your last 3 and let my Stars get that 1 spot :P

Just kiddin' tbh I wouldn't want to play a hot Blues team when we've had Colorado's number so I wouldn't be surprised if we rested some starters today. Otter has already been resting. We're without Heiskanen/Seguin/Lundkvist and I only see Seguin returning come playoff time. We are without 2 of our best young defensemen for likely the remainder of the playoffs. As a Stars fan I'd rather Heiskanen not return at all he's too valuable to the organization and I'd hate to see him come back and then get injured again. We went through most the season without those 3 and we're still a top 5 team in the league.

Hope we don't see a repeat of the last season game 82 Ducks purposely lose to Vegas to tank for the draft and then the Stars had to play Vegas first round. Let's not become the NBA/NFL where we purposely lose for "potential future acquisitions".

Come playoff time Avs & Knights are both tough outs honestly. What the Stars are doing without Miro & Nils is very impressive, but you can't rush Miro back... what Landeskog's gone through can't be ignored

I am hoping for the Wild but the Blues may have blown their load. The Stars are going to play us tough tonight, coming off that performance Tuesday and how we handled them last time they are not going to rollover

Playoff hockey is unmatched in the sports world

Couldn't agree more and as a true Stars fan and knowing they'll be a contender for years to come the idea of rushing Heiskanen back if they "make it deep in the playoffs" is dumb. As much as he'd like to return and without him the likelihood of them winning this year goes down significantly but it is what it is. It was part of the reason we got Rantenen(another Finish player) because players like Seguin, Benn, and Duchene are at the tail end of their careers. The Stars organization and Jim Neil have done amazing work over the years. We won't need to do a rebuild like most teams because we've developed a good farm system and have a good young core of guys like Robertson/Hintz/Johnston/Heiskanen/Lundvist/Harley/Otteinger. The Stars will not drop to a bottom feeder team ever because of how the organization is run. Jets are similar and of course everyone can say "but they never won" but as someone who lives in Chicago and been around Blackhawks fans they are so ungrateful for their 3 cups and now Bedard's "potential" is being squandered on a team that was basically gutted.

Nothing beats Stanley Cup playoffs and people who've played hockey know the grind and more and more fans are flocking to the game of hockey because basketball and football becoming a joke.

My nephew saw his first live hockey fight and he was stunned like, "woah they can fight" and I'm like, "this ain't the NFL/NBA", "this aint Lebron flopping and NFL refs flipping games" this is the NHL....real men.
