I looked at both of them on steam and yeah I played the first one probably when it first came out.

How's progression in 2? Is it still slow going at first or is leveling more balanced?

Yeah that's the one I completed so far (just one base victory)

I haven't gotten close in the others yet.

This is great but early release, still lacking custom lobby multiplayer but if they add that it's gonna be great. Manual shift + clutch button options and very good customizable camera settings fine tuning of the cars. Free roam with some challenging little drift missions etc.
