I tried pre-dawn. Ranger. Super slow, didn’t feel like I ever really found anything good. Got to lvl 35 and lost interest.

Trying new patch now as sorc. Lvl 35 again. Definitely a bit more fun, but still extremely slow. Every unique I’ve found is for a different class. Rare / crafts are junk. Still using lvl 3 wand. Lol. Loot system seems like shit. I feel exhausted after about an hour of grinding and just log off.

Isn’t the point/addiction to find ‘cool loot’ and get a dopamine hit/want more/repeat? Or do I just have bad RNG 🫠

buy a new wand off vendor. your main upgrades during campaign come from the vendor

yeah I gambled a bunch, nothing better. This one is actually pretty insane for lvl 3. Just seems sluggish AF.

I used my first Scepter (35% Spirit / 1 Skill) until Level 42 then i found a new one with the same stats but higher Skeleton level. After week one just buy gear for 1 EX these drop a lot now... But yeah i sucks to play all acts twice with all nerfs and figuring things out for new stuff and nerfs i takes some time

Prime example that GGG missed the mark with the campaign experience of the average player

The campaign is an absolute slog. It feels like shit for 15 hours and I quit twice until I managed to actually finish it. Beginning of endgame sucks because you keep dying in maps and you do zero dps. I'd say I would have had to farm another 10 hours until my build is suddenly strong enough to basically one shot everything in maps and then the game becomes somewhat enjoyable.

So it's 25 hours of shit and then it becomes about half the fun of PoE1

ill say all game, but in this seasson, for me not fun yet, but i put 40+ (i played like 70hr+)
I love do a leveling d2r and rush Hc when die or do acc jobs but this campaign in poe2 0.2 was boring at all

i hate the campaign so much, i feel like that's the one thing D4 did better: have a button "skip campaign" when creating a character

Campaign is meant to be a proper challenge
Not like Poe 1 campaign or diablo, you actually gotta get upgrades etc I got pretty lucky and normal mode was dropping me a fair few exalts
